WINTER SOLSTICE TEA BLEND
WINTER SOLSTICE TEA BLEND
This blend is great as a general Winter tonic.
Micro-batched, Handcrafted & packed fresh per order. I source most herbs from small farms across New England for the freshest, most nutrient rich tea blends.
Taste: fruity, earthy, with a hint of maple (thanks to fenugreek seeds).
Herbal actions: vitamins, minerals, nutritive, grounding, promotes calm energy.
Systems affected: immune, respiratory, circulatory., cardiovascular, digestive.
HONEYBUSH - Originating from South Africa, this tea is named after its honey-like aroma and sweet flavor. It’s a good source of minerals such as calcium, manganese, and magnesium. Honeybush been traditionally used to support respiratory health due to its anti-inflammatory and expectorant properties. It may help to relieve symptoms of cough, congestion, and asthma. It’s also rich in antioxidants and flavonoids, which can help to strengthen the immune system by fighting off harmful free radicals that cause cellular damage and inflammation.
PINE NEEDLES - So many benefits to body and mind. Medicinally, it can help aid the immune system with its high vitamin C content and antimicrobial qualities, it can help with pain and inflammation, and it can offer relief to colds and coughs. Energetically, pine is said to encourage peace, harmony, wisdom, intuition, grounding, and courage.
RED SUMAC BERRIES - Research shows that sumac is high in vitamin C and is used to regulate blood sugar and tonify the body, especially the reproductive system. It is also anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal.
FENUGREEK SEEDS - they contain minerals and bioactive compounds and are a powerhouse of benefits. They have anti-cancer, anti-diabetic, hypocholesterolemia, anti-inflammatory effects, etc. They also may help improve digestion and soothe coughs.

SUGGESTED USE: Add 1 Tablespoon loose leaf (or tea bag) per 8 oz cup of boiling water. Steep for 10-15 minutes - or longer, covered. The longer the steep the stronger the flavor. Strain & sweeten as desired. Raw honey is my personal favorite sweetener.
