This blend is a mender, healer, soother… truly a ‘do everything’ mix of flowers & resins:

FRANKINCENSE & MYRRH RESINS - Resins in general are ‘nature’s bandaids’. Trees that omit resins, release them after being wounded and the resins help them heal. They are anti-inflammatory, strengthening, and antiseptic. Frankincense resin is additionally brightening and firming. Myrrh resin works synergistically with Frankincense resin.  

HIBISCUS - contains flavonoids, vitamin c and alpha hydroxy acids (AHA’s).

HELICHRYSUM – This little yellow flower is as gentle as it is potent, reducing redness, swelling and irritation. It strengthens tissues and supports healing activity, minimizing the appearance of scars and broken capillaries.

CALENDULA - deeply restorative and healing to the skin, helpful for scarring and all forms of skin damage.

ROSE - protective and barrier strengthening properties. This Petal medicine is gentle and soothing to the skin, and is deeply hydrating and supportive to connective tissue. Roses reduce the appearance of fine lines and are potent free radical scavengers.

The scent is primarily Frankincense Resin with hints of Calendula & Helichrysum flowers.

NOTE:

~ A little goes a long way! Start with a tiny bit, work into skin and allow a few minutes for it to fully absorb into skin. Best applied to damp skin for ultimate hydration & absorption. 

Tallow is natural and every batch is different, therefore your whips may vary in color, texture & scent. 

My products are crafted with only natural ingredients and never contain stabilizers. Because of this, they can be affected by temperature changes during shipping. Products may soften, melt, feel extra firm or become grainy. These changes are purely cosmetic and do not impact the safety, quality, or effectiveness of the product.

CARE TIP: Tallow will melt or harden depending on the temperature it's in. If your tallow is too firm, I recommend keeping it in a warm room of your home or warming between your hands until it's soft enough to apply. If it's melted, please place in a cool area until firm.

Benefits of grass-fed Tallow:

Vitamins A, B12, D, E, and K are extremely nourishing for skin. This particular combination of beneficial vitamins is only found together in animal products. 

Alpha linoleic and linoleic acids in almost a perfect ratio of 1:1. These are also known as omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids, and they maintain the structure and barrier function of skin. They are also helpful for anti inflammatory and immune responses in skin, including eczema and rosacea. 

Stearic acid and oleic acid are fatty acids that are found in the outer layer of our skin, and in our sebum. They are softening, moisturizer, regenerative, and anti inflammatory. Stearic acid helps to repair skin,  improve the flexibility of skin, improves skin’s barrier function. Oleic acid helps the various beneficial nutrients penetrate deeply into skin. 

Conjugated linoleic acid or CLA has powerful anti inflammatory properties, and is also antimicrobial. 

Palmitoleic acid is a very active antimicrobial in our skin. It is also one of the basic building blocks of our skin, but it decreases as we age. 

Palmitic acid helps improve the smoothness of skin, and helps with skin’s barrier function, and decreases as we age.
